The UN-Laboring Day

I still don't know why they call it Labor Day when nobody goes to work....

well....I know a few people who did...and I'm certainly glad they did, cause my girlfriend Kate and I went to town in Redmond Ridge today!

Thai Food and $20 Pedi's. Oh yeah Baby!

I was going to choose this new Neon Orange color that I just bought for my toes, but then Kate's daughter Ellory (who was also with us) inspired me to get blue toenails and we all got flowers. My nail girl Tammy gave me my "orange" flowers using my polish. I didn't necessarily want orange flowers, but whatever, they look cute. But after Kate said that I had "Bronco colors" (she's a huge sports fanatic) on my toes I was like, "Nu uh! No way! They are NOT Bronco colors!".....cause I despise football.

Anyways have I mentioned that I'm in love with my nail girl? She can do no wrong. I've been seeing her about 3 months now and I absolutely love her. I had a nail girl in Canada and I thought she was the Cats Pyjamas, but my nail girl Tammy, man she's the Bee's Knees! The best part of all, she's cheap & fast!

Later on today we got invited to a BBQ at the some friends house. Man they are a hoot. They also invited our friend's who are our "complex neighbors, (they live in the complex next door) and she happens to be my Visiting Teacher and I also visit teach her and I also am her Hairstylist and I'm also her friend, so we see each other regularly anyways, but it was fun to get together at someone else's house. Well after the BBQ was pretty much done and it was time for us to go, Dan decided he would take the girls home and I would stay behind and play games and he actually took our neighbor's husband home too and I would ride home with his wife.....anyways it's late and I've had a long day. I don't even know why I'm writing this.....anyways it was pretty much just us girls left. We played this game called Eye to Eye and it started off okay and then we started getting crazy....so we decided to play the game a different way and let's just say when women get crazy, we think crazy thoughts and this game was just getting so silly that I couldn't even believe what was coming out of the mouths of these women! Of course I was being funny too. I guess you have to be there to understand what I was talking about, but I just wanted to say that I had a blast and it was unexpected. It was just fun getting to know people that you just see in a different light sometimes, because of their profession, or their status or simply because you've miss judged them, (not that I've done that in this particular case) but it just proved to me yet again that you can't judge a book by a cover. I love getting to know new people and breaking the shells of others as well. Finding things in common with others that I never would've known had I not talked to them or given them a chance.....

Okay now I'm totally going off and I can feel the "tired" coming on.....I've even got to turn the spell checker on.....totally misspelling words. Maybe I should leave it on so that you can see just how tired I am and how many typo's I'm making. Nope too bad.

I agree! Labor Day should be about relaxing. I take it as a sign that life is about to get CRAZY (school, weather, holidays)and take the day off. Yesterday, it was nice ust to be home.

I love your toenails!

I had a great time last night. It totally made up for having a boring, kind of irritating day at work. Lets do it again soon.
