Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies

If you like CHEWY chocolate chip cookies, then this recipe is for you! They get gobbled so fast I usually have to double the recipe.

Here's what you'll need:

1 C. Butter
1 C. Packed Brown Sugar
2 Eggs
1 ½ Tsp. Vanilla

2 ½ C. Flour
1 Tsp. Baking Soda
1 (3.4 oz)Pkg. Vanilla Pudding

And of course...
1 C. Chocolate Chips

These are my favorite brand

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.

In a stand-up mixer or by using a hand mixer, cream butter. Add brown sugar and cream together. Add the eggs and vanilla. Cream until light and fluffy.

Meanwhile in another bowl, mix together the dry ingredients. Stir well and then add to wet ingredients. Mix well.

Add chocolate chips and stir to mix.

Make 1 inch balls and place them about an inch apart on a parchment-lined cookie sheet. Bake 9-12 min. or until very lightly brown.

DO NOT
I repeat,
DO NOT over bake them!

The end result will be pure heaven!

Here's how to freeze the dough, for making some in a pinch.

First line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Place balls of cookie dough on the sheet, leaving about a 1/4 in of space between them. It's okay if they touch a litte, but make sure they're not totally crowding each other.

Next place the cookie sheet flat in the freezer. Freeze for at least 45 min-1 hour.

Meanwhile, label freezer bags with the contents and also the time & temperature it takes to bake them.

When the cookie dough is finished freezing, take them off the parchment paper and immediately place them in the freezer bags. Place the bags immediately back in the freezer. The dough should be good for up to 4 months.

Now you can enjoy these wonderful cookies anytime you want!
