So I guess I should mention that we don't actually have the girls officially in our home yet and we're still in the "transitioning" period. Some of you don't understand this yet and I wanted to make this clear. We won't have a "permanent placement" date for at least another week and it's all a bunch of legal paperwork and stuff that the birth mom has to sign off on as well as the birth father and so we're still emotionally & physically trying to get things sorted out before we're full time parents to these beautiful girls.
In the meantime, I appreciate all the emails and comments on here and I want them to keep coming. They mean so much at this time!!! Thank you! Thank you!
I promise I will post pictures of the girls soon, but I wanted to post this as soon as possible as to not add anymore confusion.

Scott and I are so excited for you guys!! It is a big change in your life, but worth every moment. My aunt adopted two little girls through WA state, and it was tricky, but now they are done with all the hard stuff. Once all the back and forth and lawyer's stuff is done you will be able to breath a sigh of relief for one second, and then probably race after the girls. We are so happy for you and have nothing but good thoughts and prayers going your way.

So good to hear from you. Your girls are so beautiful! Any I can't believe how much they look like you guys holy cow! I know what you mean about the states and how they just can't get it right when it comes to good snacks. I totally loaded up on smarties, ketchup chips, wounderbars, areo bars and a few other Canadian treats. I was really bummed because I missed the girl guide cookies by like a week or so. American cookies are not the same as the lucious chocolate and vanilla cookies. Anyways, I'm so excited about your girls and your growing family. We are coming agian in Aug for a fam reunion so I'd love to get together and see you. I miss you too like crazy and miss being home. Love you tons and you are in our prayers.
